| Services We Provide : Stablewind Thoroughbred Management will represent you at the sales. We have had much success buying horses for owners that were breeders and racehorse owners. We advised on mares that were bought very reasonably and produced very nice racehorses some stakes placed. We advised on 2 yr olds ( at 2yr old in training sales), though our advice wasn't taken the horses became nice stake horses. They too sold reasonably. We managed private breeding farms, our duties included pedigree research for stallions to breed to our mares, foaling mares, weaning foals, breaking yearlings, prepping 2 year olds for the races, legging up lay- ups. We can provide pedigree research for your mares. Our expertise is breed to race pedigrees, however, our expertise will work well with breeding for sales. We will consult with YOU, the owner of the mare(s) to determine whether you want to breed to race or sell. Whether you want a sprinting, distance, turf, synthetic surface, or all of the aforementioned types of pedigree for your resulting foal. Whether you want to breed to regional stallions, or KY stallion and what your stud fee range will be for your mare(s). We can provide farm management consultations to help you achieve the best farm management. Having been the assistant farm manager on a 300 acre farm in northern Va early in her career, our President Vita Licari has the experience to consult and advise you in helping your farm to become a more profitable operation. Also, our President, Vita Licari took out her trainers license in 1986 in MD. She spent several years as the assistant to such trainers as Charlsie Cantey ( 3 yrs.), A. Ferris Allen, Dale Capuano and as a traveling assistant to Anthony Dutrow during the winter when his horses would ship to his brother Richard's barn to run at Aqueduct. As you can see, with over 30 years of hands on horse and managerial experience our President, Vita Licari has the knowledge and experience to help YOU with any and all aspects of your horse portfolio. | Stablewind Thoroughbred Management can provide references from past clients/owners and employers. Our President, Vita, has always had and is proud of her reputation as a horsewoman and her reputation for her honesty. She has been accused of being too honest. Is that a bad thing? |
| We can also provide you're farm or racing stable with it's own webpage. It will be created to your specifications. We are affiliated with the graphic design firm "Create To Survive". We haven't gotten together yet to spruce this site up, but that will happen in the future so you can have some idea as to their talent. Their talent doesn't end with just the web page, they can also do your business cards, pamphlets, posters, postcards etc. anything that will help you promote your operation or just inform people of what you have.
