What is Stablewind Thoroughbred Management?

We are a thoroughbred consulting company, and a sales agency.  We are not
consignors. Our experience has been with breed to race operations.  Having
worked with the horses for 30 years our advice comes with practical working
knowledge.  We have also had success at the sales by breeding to race. There
are many successful regional breeding programs in which breeding a blue denim
mare to a older proven stallion can garner you a profit at the sales. Stablewind
Thoroughbred Management can guide your breeding program to be successful in
breeding race horses for racing or the sales.

Whether you are beginning a thoroughbred venture or you've been involved for
several years, we can help you to achieve the success you want.

OUR MISSION:

To help guide the thoroughbred owner in a fun and successful venture.  Whether it
be a racing stable or breeding farm.  Our motto is "Always The Horse".  Our
number one priority is what is best for your horse(s), if it's good for them, then it's
good for you.
A Little about what we do:

At sales we represent YOU.  We don't work using the commission program.  We
use a Flat Fee program.  All of the pre-sale research, travel fees, sales time are
included.  It doesn't matter how much you spend at the sale, our fee remains the
same.  But rest assured, we will not buy a horse unless we feel it has every
chance to be a racehorse, or in the case of broodmares a racehorse producer.  

Because we don't work on commissions we  are looking out for you and will try
to get you  more bang for your buck.  We also will not take any  "kick backs"
from consignors or stallion farms.  If we are offered any, we will try to get the
money to you either in the form of a check or a reduced stud fee.  After all, we
are working for you.

Who are we ?

Our president Vita Licari has been in this industry for 30 + years.  She has
worked with/for some of the best trainers , such as H. Allen Jerkens,  Joe Cantey
III , Dale Capuano , Charlsie Cantey etc.  She has worked on such farms as
Centennial Farms ,  Marsh Thoroughbred Farm and Atoka Chase Farm.  She has
worked with such horses as Majesty's Prince, Aptostar, Silent Account, and
many more.

We are located in York, PA.
